Are all Self Storage Companies the Same?
No the quality of local storage facilities varies greatly,please view the photos on this website to see that our units are modern,clean and secure,unlike Seton most do not have electronic security gates with PIN contolled access to help protect your belongings and monitor visitors to the site.
You are also very welcome to visit our storage centre to see our facilities for yourself.

How much are your Storage Units?
Our prices start at £2.89 per week for a 0.75 cu mtr locker suitable for a small quantity of personal items or business paperwork.
Different people have different storage requirements, we will never try and sell you more space than you actually need so we have published a unit size guide which you will find with our our latest prices on our prices page,you can also reserve your unit online on the same page.

Do you offer Discounts?
Yes we do offer discounts for pre paid long term storage, please click our special offers link for details of our discount structure and our latest offers.
What's included in the price - are there any hidden extras?
There are no hidden extras, there are no service charges,or utility costs.You will need a padlock which you can supply or you can buy one of ours at a discounted price. You may also wish to use our insurance to insure your goods whilst in storage. A refundable security deposit will be required on all rentals.
We usually ask for 4 weeks advance rental and 4 weeks deposit on our unit rentals.
Do I have to sign a lease?
No you just sign a simple Storage Licence prior to move in. All rentals are subject to our licence terms and conditions.
How can I pay for my storage?
You can pay by Direct Debit or Standing Order,Credit or debit Card. We do not accept cash.
How often do I pay for my unit?
Our rentals are based on a 28 day charging period,providing we receive sufficient notice when you leave your unit we refund any unused rent.
What is your minimum rental period?
4 weeks as most people find this the ideal minimum storage time.
What is the maximum storage time?
You are welcome to store for as long as you want,there is no maximum period,in fact we offer discounts for long term pre paid storage,please ask for details of our long term storage discounts.
Can I transfer to a different room size if I find I have too much or too little space?
Yes you can change your unit size at any time providing we have the desired unit size available for you.
What sort of storage do you offer?
We do a range of sizes from a 1cu mtr locker through to large 160 sq ft units ,we also offer large drive up units.
We will always try to offer you the correct size so you don't end up paying for space you don't need.
Internal Storage Units
We offer clean & dry indoor custom built units within our building, our internal units come in wide range of sizes,all of which have been professional designed and constructed by a leading European self storage specialist.
Drive Up Units
Our heavy duty steel drive up units are Clean, dry and secure and combine convenience with long opening hours.
All Drive Up Units are located within a steel fenced security compound,access to the compound is by inserting your pesonal PIN into the electronic security gates.
Due to security reasons we do Not offer 24 hour access
Are your units clean and dry?
Yes they are suitable for the majority of domestic and commercial storage needs.

I've never used self storage before how does it work?
Initially you can either bring the goods to us yourself or use a removal firm ( we are happy to recommend quality removers) If you live within a 30 miles of Redruth why not use our Free Self Drive Van for bringing your goods into storage. Once your goods are in storage you can access your goods as often as you like without any charge or notice,you are the only key holder to your unit,think of it as your own private space.
I don't want to do my own removals, can you recommend companies who can do this for me?
Yes we can recommend reliable firms to help you,please just ask us and we will be pleased to point you in the right direction.
Does your building have CCTV, Heat and Smoke Detection?
Yes our premises are electronically monitored 24/7 by an external monitoring company.
What security features do you have?
Our premises are monitored by Infra Red Night/Day vision CCTV, Remotely monitored NACOSS aproved intruder alarms,Electronic Smoke & Heated Detection.
Kestrell Guards Security Services operate their Cornwall office from our site giving our customers a unique security presence day and night.
On site managers monitor security during internal unit opening hours.
For security reasons we think that it's best not to offer 24 hour access,but our Drive Up Units offer 7 daty a week access with convenient long access hours.
Our site is surrounded by a strong and secure steel palisade high security fence,which is topped by very sharp pointed trident pales.
We have access controlled electronic security gates to our palisade steel fenced storage compounds,only authorised customers will be able to access our storage compounds ,upon commencement of your storage we will isue you with a PIN to access the correct compound and then de activate it once you vacate your unit,we are also able to bar access and restrict access times on the same system,lost PIN numbers can be de activated as an extra security precaution.
Do I need to bring my own padlock?
We usually recommend that you purchase one of our high quality low cost locks for our internal storage units,if you have your own lock you are welcome to use that. Our Drive up units are complete with heavy duty security locks but we recommend that you add an extra padlock.
Do you have trolleys to help with loading my storage unit?
Yes we provide trolleys to help you move those heavy items into your storage unit.
What are your opening hours?
Our Drive Up Units are open 7am-7pm seven days a week when you use your security code. Inernal Storage Units 9am-5pm Monday - Friday 9am-12noon Saturdays,our internal units are closed on Sundays and during national holidays.
Is it advisable to Reserve a unit?
Yes we can hold a room for you for 4 weeks on payment of £20 which is then used towards your rental when you move in.
How often can I access my storage - is there a charge for access?
You can access as often as you like during our opening hours,there is no charge for access.
Can I move in straight away?
Yes providing we have the unit size that you require,you will be asked to sign our Licence Agreement, provide suitable ID and make payment.
What items am I restricted from storing?
You will not be allowed to store anything that is dangerous or illegal,you will be asked to sign a declaration to this effect prior to your move in,always check with us if you are in doubt of the suitability of any items you intend to store, we will be pleased to advise you.
